Pepa is a young athletic pup who is eager to learn and train. She is very food motivated, which has made it easy to train her. She has learned, “wait,” “stay,” “no,” “sit,” and “down.” She does not guard food, treats, or toys. She loves to burrow in sheets and pillows, or your couch. If it was up to Pepa, she would play with you all day. She needs an owner with strong leadership skills, who is experienced with active and athletic dogs. Pepa runs quite fast and can jump as high as 5ft (easily). She is very clever, and also determined when she wants to do something; hence, the need for a strong leader. If she feels you are not assertive enough to protect her, she will take the lead and claim herself as alpha. Otherwise, she is often happy to follow your lead. Pepa still likes to nibble when she plays, but responds quickly when you enforce a “no.” Pepa enjoys chew toys, bathing in the sun, and long walks. She is a great companion for an active owner.
