I am a Police Officer in a local township outside of Dayton. I was called to assist staff at a local hotel in the area. A man had rented a room under false information, placed the dog in the room, and then apparently left. Leaving poor Millie with no food or water for hours before staff went to clean the room and noticed the man had left without Millie. Multiple attempts were made to identify and contact the unknown man who had rented the room and/or possibly another owner and all were unsuccessful. I told the hotel staff I would take her home with me and foster her until I could find her a new home. She is a sweetheart and deserves a good and loving home. She loves to snuggle and is great with my two dogs (3 y/o Pit/Terrier & 4 y/o BullBoxer). I would keep her but my hours and my other two dogs take up all my time and I want her to go to a home where she can get all the attention she deserves.
