Penny has lived with other cats and was brought to us because his person passed away, so being at the Care Center has been an adjustment, but he's slowly coming out of his shell. Chirping, chatting and stretching, he walked himself right over to me for a proper introduction. Penny very sweetly leaned his head into my hand for some neck scritches, while telling me all about his day (it was good, but busy) before flopping himself into my arms. Rolling around in the cutest stretches, Penny continued to chirp about all the people he saw, the naps he took, and the toys he played with. He is just so fun and cute that I could hardly keep up with his stories, but what I found most surprising is that he wanted to do more! I offered him a slice of pizza toy, which he immediately and very adorably took to. Delicately tapping it with his paw, he told me that it was just the perfect thing for such a busy day. The only thing that could have made his day even more perfect is meeting his forever family, but there's always tomorrow!My foster writes: Penny is a shy little guy, but once he gets to know you, he loves to talk to you! He enjoys playing with his mousies, chasing balls, and wand toys. When not playing, he likes to lounge in the kitty condo where he can have some time to himself and feel safe. He likes nap time just as much as kitty condo tower acrobatics, loves meat tube snacks, and is always up for some petting and chin/ear scritches. Penny is still coming out of his shell so there's more to his personality just waiting to be discovered, but he has shown his gentle, playful, independent, and inquisitive side. His coat is a soft, dark chocolatey brown, with a white patch on his neck and belly. He makes funny faces and chirping noises, and one ear is bigger than the other, which all add to his charm.
