Rex is an incredible, sweet, playful and loving guy who’s brought our family an unbelievable amount of joy since adopting him in 2017 at age 5. Rex came to us as a rescue with an opaque past and has always been a bit anxious, particularly around small children. He’s come so far over the last 7 years, but unfortunately Rex recently became aggressive with our 1yr old daughter and we are devastated that he must now be re-homed. While he’s nearly 12, he’s in great health, still has lots of energy and love to give, and deserves to spend his final years with a patient, loving family who can offer him what we unfortunately now cannot. The ideal adopter would have no small children and a fenced-in yard with room to run around.
