This gorgeous boy is Teddy. He’s a Purebred Hugger. Officer Carpentier had a very hard time taking his picture because all Teddy wanted to do was be close to give and to receive hugs. Teddy is 3 years old and weighs 50 lbs, though he could stand to gain a few pounds. He walks well on a leash and does this cute little wrinkle smile when he meets you. He doesn’t like other dogs near his kennel when he eats but the staff is unsure if it’s the environment in the kennels or not. He has not been tested with cats or dogs yet. Teddy is another Old Lady Approved dog! Teddy is going to be someones BFF.The adoption fee for dogs is $90.This fee includes spay/neuter, deworming, heartworm test, rabies & DHLPP shots, flea & tick treatment and license (for Newaygo County residents).Newaygo County Animal Shelter78 N.
