I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Holding 3 (Cat Alley):19Meet Precious and Major. These gorgeous senior girls lost the only home they've ever known at 7 years old, and find themselves understandably a bit put out in the shelter. Precious is likely to be a little shy, but give her a tasty treat like Churu, and she'll be brave to get a bit of the good stuff!Her sister Major is a little more feisty - her nervousness with new people will occasionally result in a little swat on the hand of the stranger, just to let them know that Major's not quite there yet with all this attention! Since Precious and Major have lived comfortably in a home before, we're confident that they'll settle in quickly once they feel safe and loved in their new environment. They're hoping for a patient, cat-experienced guardian who can give them a quiet home to decompress and start the next chapter of their lives together. May 28, 2024, 1:04 pm
