Hello there! This lovely girl is Athena, a Pit Bull mix with a massive heart. Athena loves to be around people to the extent that she jumps in her kennel to see when we go by. Athena is an energetic and lively young girl looking for a home with fresh green grass to roll around in. Athena can be a bit selective on which dogs she likes but generally she is an easy going girl. Oh and she does best without a cat around! Athena needs someone who understands her personality and is willing to work with her to bring out her full potential.If you are interested in meeting Athena, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100. Watch for adoption specials!!
