Howdy folks, I’m a handsome little Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, 1 year old, 14 lbs, and I can rock a bowtie like nobody's business! I’ve been living in Texas, so it should come as no surprise that I was a stray dog, since some of the cutest and sweetest little dogs around here are homeless, loveless, and usually foodless. Fortunately, in my case, a lady was feeding me whenever I passed by, and one day she invited me in, called 4 Little Paws Rescue, and now I’m living in a foster home being well taken care of. Besides being incredibly stylish and adorable, I am also charming and sensitive. I am friendly with all people, just a little shy at first since humans have done me wrong and I’d like to know your a good human before I welcome you into my heart and start snuggling and kissing you. Because that’s what I do. I love love and will look at you as if you hung the stars and the moon. I adore my doggy friends and make a wonderful doggy playmate, happy and playful, and I enjoy their company. I love chew toys and peanut butter, and spending time with my peeps. I’m quiet and well-behaved. I am working on some housebreaking skills and doing well. I don't mind a ride in the car and a walk to the park or strolling along the beach sounds like something I could easily get used to. I’ll be moving to Connecticut next week, already dreaming about a wonderful future with some fun new adventures, and with you by my side, the world is my oyster! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.Adoption processPlease DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption!
