Pirate was found running near Pet Supplies Plus in Stephenville and was never reclaimed. Pirate is a very sweet boy but needs time to open up in a new environment. He does not like being kenneled inside and will whine and cry. He is very strong on a leash. He is pretty treat motivated and does respond to "sit" as long as it is a calmer environment. Pirate does seem to be more of a women's dog and prefers them to men. Pirate is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative and on prevention. He has been dewormed.All adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. ECHS does not reserve available animals for the public for any reason. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion.
