Rusty is about 17 months old. Current owners are seeking a patient and gentle owner who can continue Rusty's training and provide the perfect loving environment for his personality and breed needs, which requires a lot of exercise. Rusty would do best with an owner who knows and loves the breed well. He needs a home that can give a lot of time (someone who is home a lot), patience, and love. His favorite pass-time is to lay in the sun, but he needs enough exercise and a job to do to be his best self. He is an extremely sweet and goofy boy, but also very stubborn (in true hound fashion) with a strong personality that requires an experienced, gentle, and active owner. He is a vocal hound. He knows his basic commands and is crate trained. Will only go to a home that lets him be a part of the family inside the house. New owner must be willing to sign breeder contract. Best in a home w/o small children/dogs as he is still a big puppy that gets excited.Please reach out for more information.
