Jack was a rescue about 3 years ago from New Mexico. He had no training when he came to use, but was a super fast learner. He crate trained and was house broken within 2 days of us having him. He learned quickly at Pets Mart training and passed his informal good K9 citizen test. 98% of the time he is a wonderful dog - he doesn't chew things up, sleeps in his crate, doesn't go to the bathroom in the house and rarely barks. It's the 2% of his time why we are needing to re-home him. He is a decker rat terrier and they tend to attach very strongly to one person and will protect them through thick and thin. He strongly prefers women over men. He bit my husband and can no longer stay with us. He would be ideal for a single woman who wants protection from her pet pal. He is a great companion and loves to go on hikes and long walks.
