I'm a sweet little lady named Pippin. I am 7 years old and act much younger than my years. I am heartworm positive and on the slow kill method of treatment, Our vet coordinator will be happy to discuss her status . I follow my nose everywhere, love to keep busy, and will get into some mischief when bored. I am always by my family's side because I want to be included in everything they do!I am still working on my house training. I love going on walks and get rather excited to see new places and meet new people. My foster family are helping me to learn to walk nicely on the leash. I am usually quiet and only bark to greet my family or playing with the other dogs in my foster home. I made quick friends with the other dogs here and would love a forever home with a canine buddy to play with. I would likely do well as an only dog too. I even get along with cats! I love children and do best with older kids, young toddlers are just too active and fast for me. I would be best in a home where people are around a lot to watch me and keep me out of trouble. I have been known to get into kitchen cabinets, trash cans and counter surf on the lookout for food. I especially love carrots and sweet potatoes! I am very food motivated and pretty smart, so I generally learn things quickly. I will need a home with a very secure fenced yard as I can jump high for a low rider and always looking for a way out to follow my nose. I am very curious and love to explore my world. I enjoy spending time out in the yard playing with the other dogs or toys. Or even just to stretch my legs on a good run!I am as sweet as can be and am looking for a family to share all my love with!
