Adopt Parker a Brown/Chocolate Labrador Retriever / Mixed dog in San Francisco

Parker is a gentle & often mellow dog who absolutely loves being with other dogs and will do just about anything for a treat. He is a pro at sit/down and learning to stay out of the kitchen (he will countersurf left unattended!) He needs help learning to chew on toys, not shoes or other plastic items. He loves to romp around with other dogs but otherwise not very high energy and can tire pretty easily. He is less interested in playing fetch or with other toys. Rarely barks and greets house guests calmly (except for dogs, which he greets with much greater enthusiasm!) We strongly suggest that Parker be in a home with another dog - we think he would be much happier and able to settle more easily. His trainers suspect that his propensity for pacing/chewing is likely due to missing a canine companion. He is much better behaved and more likely to play when with other dogs. He also needs more help with nipping/mouthing, which may be better in presence of another dog.
