I adopted Minnie (Female/2 years) at the Garland Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. At the kennel she was ready to go out and play. Completely happy to be outside and took her home. Still acts like a puppy when around you by seeking attention, jumping on you, and giving love bites, but when it's serious, Minnie will protect you and your surroundings. Has insane hearing, great watchdog, and athletic when needed. Would recommend kennel, raised bed, or dog house. Toy wise I would say any kind of ball, in which I would recommend Chuck it or Kong brand in a large size. Loves anything that squeaks. Lastly on walks, just have a sturdy leash and should be fine, unless she sees a squirrel. At their new home, I would like for an experienced adopter to take care of Ros-E as she can be a handful, but easier if they know about American Staffordshire Terrier. Will be right by your side when needed. Loves to take walks, persistent in playing fetch, and sit patiently when feeding.
