FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED:Meet Nellie! She is a sweet, 1.5-year-old, 54 lb Border Collie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. True to her breed, she is an active girl who will make a great running, hiking or adventure buddy. She will need an active family who will keep her mentally and physically stimulated. She is smart, curious and a very quick learner as well as learns routine very fast! She is treat motivated and takes them gently. She has done well with other dogs in our care and would do fine with another dog in the home or could be an only dog with continued socialization. She would love a home with a securely fenced yard in a suburban or rural neighborhood. She has not been tested with cats or kids. Nellie is current on her vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.
