Look At Candy! She was found alone in a neighborhood in Santa Clarita. Her hair was so long and matted that it was impossible to see her body or face. When the kind people who took her in reached out for help, we had no idea what we would find under all that hair. It turns out to be a very young pup, somewhere between 6 and 8 months old, and only weighing 8 pounds. She is playful, loving, and quite literally lights up when a kid is near. Candy can be quite chatty, so we think a house with a yard and another playful furry companion would be the ideal environment for her. She is ready to bring joy and laughter to a family of her very own. Check out her journey on her highlight reel. We do require visits here to our rescue and in-person home checks for all adoptions. The Brittany Foundation is a 501c3 dog rescue and sanctuary in Agua Dulce, CA, that was started in 1994. Our goal for every dog we rescue is to find a loving forever home, but they have a home here with us for as long as they need it.
