Frost is easy-going, low maintenance, and medium to low energy. He loves being around his humans and other dogs, but is also very content entertaining himself with a chew toy. Some of Frost's favorite things are short walks, naps, belly rubs, and treats. He is an obedient gentlemen, walks well on a leash, is housebroken, enjoys his crate, and knows basic commands (sit, down, stay). He can be timid in new situtations but quickly warms up when he knows he's "safe."Frost is currently in a foster home but excited to find his forever home! He will make the perfect companion for anyone wanting a large breed with an even bigger heart! is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, or in some cases in our very small private kennel facility on Martha's Vineyard and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A large majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
