Brandy, 8 months old, belonged to an elderly woman who had to go into hospice care. She surrendered Brandy along with her two siblings, Pete and Susie, to me on March 7, 2024. She is so darn cute, and very loving and affectionate. She is calm and inquisitive, and after some initial pulling, walks calmly on the leash. She can be shy when first meeting someone new, and needs time to warm up. She likes other dogs as long as she is properly introduced with a leash-walk, even just 5-10 minutes. She does not react to my cats. She is a nice size at around 44 pounds. She likes to go on walks, and just be with her person. Brandy is crate-trained but does not like being in there. Because she is still a puppy, she needs to be supervised when inside the house. She seems nervous around young children. Because of this, and also that she can be nervous with new people and new situations, she might be best in a home with older children (age 14 and up), or no children.
