Please meet Mr. Disco Duck in Oswego, NY. He is a 2.5 yr old Border Collie who LOVES: snuggling, car rides, catching and bringing back tennis balls (for hours), walks, sitting for brushing, and is very quick to learn. His eyes are full of love when looking into his human's eyes. He knows how to open gates and house doors that have lever handles. Disco never ceases to amaze me. He wanted a snack and barked at me until I had to get up and ask him what he wanted. He brought me into the kitchen and looked up to where the "cookie" jar was and sat down waiting for his cookie. BEWARE of the slurpy kisses! Disco is so full of love for his humans and is a silly boy. Disco needs some obedience training. At 67# he is very strong, but will learn quickly. He responds well to the leash, because he knows that means a walk, but he does pull (working on that) because he's so excited. Disco Duck would LOVE TO TRY AGILITY. He already jumped over a 4 ft gate, to be with me in the kitchen, from a standing position! Hiking would be right up his alley too. He is a challenge, but what Boarder Collie isn't? Disco needs to go to an experience and knowledgeable Boarder Collie human and be the ONLY DOG. He is jealous and becomes very possessive of his human and will not let other dogs come near. Disco is up to date on all vaccines and has an apt to be neutered on 4/6/24. Please do not be intimidated by this boy. He's young and has A LOT OF LOVE AND DEVOTION for the right human. Professional Training is a must, as does any BC, due to their high activity level and intelligence. He's a big goof ball that will fill your heart with love and tire you out!
