She was dumped at the pound, because she apparently has a birth defect in one of her legs, giving her an uneven gait. It does not seem to bother her, but it was enough to condemn her to death at the pound, and she was very sad in there. Abby gets along well with people and other dogs and is now a happy dog, but she is elderly and special needs since arthritis has begun bothering her.
