Arlo was purchased from a feeder bin, mistakenly thought to be female. He made some gorgeous babies with his owner's other rat, and she could not keep them all so both he and his sons made their way to Tiny Whiskers to find a new home. Arlo is pretty young, around 6 months, and his kids were born 04/08/2024. 4 of his daughters are also available! Arlo had 7 male babies, all pink eyed whites just like him. Arlo and babies must be adopted in pairs (if you already have rats for them to live with) or trios (if you don't have any rats already). Or larger groups! If you have a double critter nation or larger, you could even adopt all 8 and have one big happy family. The babies are all named after early 2000s cell phone models: Samsung Gloss, LG Shine, Nokia N-Gage, LG Blitz, LG EnV, LG Rumor, and Motorola Nextel. We keep track of who is who using different shaped and colored sharpie marks on their tails, per our vet's recommendation. Arlo and all of his boys are complete hams. They swarm the cage doors during dinnertime and do very well with handling. Pink eyed whites can be hard to find homes for, but we know these boys have so much love to give.
