This is Nate, a thrice-rescued, twice-released little feral pigeon. His rescuer found him this time with a wound torn from chin to hip. He needed avian vet care, was hospitalized for a couple of days & has been discharged into supportive foster care where he is receiving wound care that will require time, meds & debrieding to succeed. He’s feisty, sassy & opinionated- all great signs- & we’re hopeful he’ll have a long happy life.
