Abby is 8 years old and weighs around 40 pounds. When Abby arrived at the shelter, she had a terrible skin and double ear infection. Her ears were so bad that the inflammation closed the canals of her ears completely up. She needed several rounds of medications to clear up her ear infections and her skin infection. Her skin infection is now completely gone, and her ears are much better, they are more open, and she is currently on a round of medication to hopefully clear the infections up once and for all. Due to her ear infections that were most likely left that way for far too long, Abby's ear flaps are thickened. Potential adopters should be aware that Abby may need regular care on her ears to be sure that they do not get infected like they were when she arrived at the shelter. Abby does have a soft lump on her mammary chain that was checked by a veterinarian and there was not a concern to remove it at this time. Abby has also tested positive for Lyme which she is on an antibiotic for. Abby would love to find a quiet home where she can spend her golden years! She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet and knows sit, and shake! She is a polite treat taker and enjoys going for walks! She has been through so much in her life that she deserves to be spoiled in a home to call her own! She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.
