*brown/white dwarf hamster *Born probably around beginning of 2023-This little came up with a group of hams we took from a rescue that pulls animals from kill shelters down south. Ali is so named because he likes to box at you if you get too close to him. If you don’t listen, he will nip lol. Dwarf hamsters can be more on the side of watch and be entertained but don’t necessarily carry around lol. He may warm up a bit with gentle handling but sometimes dwarf hamsters just are the way they are. We don’t recommend kids for this little guy. We recommend large size hamster cages for them so they have lots of room to run around and play and get their energy out, with lots of activities, things to climb on and chew, and solid bottomed wheels to run on, as well as a good healthy hamster diet supplemented with fresh foods. Bar spacing for dwarf hamsters must be small enough to ensure no escapes!
