Meet Oreo and Brownie, the sweet rats who live up to their names! This bonded pair of rats are looking for a new home together. Oreo and Brownie are friendly and very curious, often coming up to the side of the cage to say "hello" when you open the door! They love snuggling up together in their hammocks and under blankets. Your rat's diet should consist mainly of high-quality, pelleted rat food, which can be available to them all day. You can also offer bite-sized bits of fresh fruit and vegetables daily, such as peas, broccoli, carrots, apples, and bananas. Rats are very social creatures and should be kept in groups of at least 2. Rats need a cage with a minimum of 2.5 cubic feet, with wire siding, ramps, and platforms they can climb on, with enough room for their food, water, toys, and hiding spots. Rats are very intelligent creatures and need toys, puzzles, tunnels, and other enrichment to keep them mentally stimulated. Follow these steps to come meet your new small friend!
