Hello, my name is Oliver (or Ollie). I’m super sweet, soft, affectionate, playful, and curious! Not much intimidates me, and that’s probably because I had such a rough start in life. Before a very nice woman found me late at night and brought me into the emergency vet in Oakdale, I was found abandoned by a river in Minneapolis with super overgrown front teeth. I don’t know how I managed to eat with my teeth like that, which probably explains my hearty appetite nowadays. I could eat and eat and eat! I really love hay, pellets, Oxbow treats, and just about any type of salad green. I also LOVE oats as a bedtime snack! Ever since I was rescued, I’ve been treated for an upper respiratory infection, neutered, vaccinated against RHDV2, AND had my front teeth removed. I’m doing really well since having my teeth removed, but my vet says I will need an adopter who is willing to bring me in for a checkup every month or two. This is because one of my teeth is corkscrew-shaped and couldn’t be removed when the others were, so it’ll probably keep growing back. It’s also possible that my upper respiratory infection may stick around for a while (or forever, possibly), so please be prepared to monitor that as well. But don’t worry, I’ll make the frequent vet visits up to you by keeping a tidy home and giving you tons of attention. I love humans! I also have the absolute BEST litter box habits. I like to keep a clean home, what can I say? When I’m out playing and exploring my foster mom and dad’s home, I don’t leave even the tiniest bit of evidence (AKA stray poops). I’m very diligent about using my litter box! I also really enjoy having a hidey box to hang out in or sit on top of. I sit perched on my hidey box quite often. Life hasn’t always been easy, but I’m finally learning what it’s like to live a life that’s filled with love and kindness. I would love to meet you and join your family!
