Athena is a beautiful young lady that spent the first part of her life living on the streets as a stray. After some of her human friends noticed she didn't have a home she belonged to, they brought her into the shelter to get her medical care and give her the very best chance at finding the perfect home. Athena is still adjusting to life around people and can be very shy when you first meet her. After a little while she opens up and quickly shows off how loving she can be! Because of her upbringing as a stray, Athena is still on the skinny side and will need time and love to bring her up to a healthy weight. Sometimes eating by herself can be a little lonely, and Athena loves to have company while she enjoys all the brand new foods she's getting to try! Athena would do best in a quiet and patient home that can show her all the best things about living with people.
