- Really nice dog who loves saying hi, leaning in for pets and just hanging out with you- Likes playing and is great at entertaining himself with toys, especially squeaky toys; also enjoys relaxing on soft blankets and chewing on a Nylabone or Benebone - Knows sit and loves to learn, especially if you have treats- Enjoys going on walks and does best with a harness - Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro required) - Likely has allergies (more info at ARL) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
