Billy is a large, friendly boy. He has spent his entire life (approx. 5 years) providing wool for spinners. Let's find him a home to become part of a family where he can play and be loved. Billy handles being picked up well. He's a curious boy and loves to explore. Billy does great with his grooming and will need frequent grooming to prevent matting of his hair. His hair is wool so it can easily become matted which can cause pain and difficulty moving. He loves his blow outs and does well with brushing and haircuts as needed. Billy is litter trained and neutered. He used to get more free roam time before his owner developed too many medical conditions of her own. Screening helps as a starting point for knowledge the person already has to best build on that with providing education prior to adoption. Ongoing education provided by the rescue and as needed as well.Shelter locationWe are a foster-based rescue that is run on charitable donations and volunteer hours. The majority of bunnies are located in a private residence in Marshfield, WI. However, some are placed into foster homes up to an hour away pending availability.
