Meet Charlie, a very kind gentleman who is looking for his forever home! While he may be shy at first, once he warms up, we believe that Charlie will be a very outgoing and friendly cat. As an older guy, Charlie is looking for a low-key family that will lounge around with him on the couch while giving him head scratches. Please offer appropriate cat toys and a scratching post. If you're interested in Charlie, come on in and meet him today!While in our care, Charlie was diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is transmitted to other cats through deep bite wounds, so it is recommended that he not go to a home with cats who have tested negative for FIV. If the adopter does have other cats who are friendly then they could both live peacefully together, but there is always a chance of FIV being transmitted if a fight were to occur.
