Dirk, the shepherd mix, is still looking for his family. He is a big snuggle boy. He loves to be cuddled & doesn't know his own size. He is very anxious here at the shelter & we'd love for him to find a foster or family of his very own. He walks pretty well on a leash. He is very smart & enjoys learning new tricks. He is highly food motivated. We think he would do best in a home with respectful kids 10+. He is a big fellow that's rather clumsy & awkward. He also prefers being the only fur animal in a home. We think he'd chase a cat once comfortable & he grumbles at other dogs in the yard. He gives great hugs & would love to be loved by you.
