This darling nugget is in urgent need of a new home as her family is no longer able to care for her. Ellie May is a pretty, all-black lop girl with a sweet disposition. Like most buns Ellie May is a bit shy around new people, but once she warms up she enjoys being petted and will give kisses. She is curious and likes to explore and investigate, so toys like treat balls and snuffle mats are great for her. When not playing with her toys she likes just hanging out with her feet kicked back - and she always enjoys having company around her! If you have been thinking about welcoming a friendly and well-mannered rabbit to your home, Ellie May would love to meet you! We adopt to indoor homes only! Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.##2007019##Adoption processFor those that want to bond a new rabbit with an existing rabbit, we conduct bonding events where the home rabbit can meet several rabbits to find a potential match. We work with the adopting family to help ensure that the rabbits bond. We take back the adoptive rabbit if there is not a match. Our adoption agreement specifies that we will take any adopted rabbit back, should the home situation change in the future.Shelter locationWe are a foster-based rescue where our available animals are kept in private homes. You can see our rabbits online, then make an appointment to meet the rabbit(s) you select. From time-to-time, we conduct adoption events where you can meet multiple rabbits. Because of RHDV2, these events have been paused.
