Frank's RedHot Sauce is a handsome 4-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on June 26, 2023 after he was picked up by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden. Frank's has a gray tabby short smooth coat, a long tail, and a sweet chubby face with golden eyes, a dusting of white on his muzzle, a gray velvet nose, and long white whiskers. When we first met Frank's he was a not a happy camper being in a small cage and seemed to yearn for his freedom. Frank's was neutered on July 6, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine. After a few weeks, we honored Frank's wishes and made him one our our HSOV Shelter Mascot Kitties. He was given free-roaming privileges outside and lived a life of leisure for a few months, but by mid-October he seemed to have changed his mind and decided he would 'turn himself in' .. Frank's has a friendly, outgoing personality and was always at the front of his double-wide cage ready to greet our kennel techs and volunteers. The cage was still a bit small for Frank's size (since he is a fairly big boy who weighs 10-11 lbs), so he was upgraded to a large tower in our lobby where he was much more content. These days Frank's is content to snooze on soft blankets/beds and dine on fine gourmet kitty food, and he no longer seems to yearn for outdoor freedom. These photos of Frank's were taken on December 1, 2023 when he was content to continue his catnap in his large tower. Frank's was given vaccinations on November 8, 2023 and was given booster vaccines on November 25, 2023. This sweet guy is looking for a permanent home ... Frank's might possibly be happy as an indoor-outdoor kind of kitty with the right person/family.
