Hera Domestic Shorthair Adult Female

Hera was one of 8 cats rescued from a Bedford hoarder along with 90 dogs. Her injured bad eye was given time/treatment to heal, which proved unsuccessful, and her eye was removed. Her quality of life has greatly improved and she seems to be a much happier cat. Once rescued, she was placed in a foster home for the TLC she was deprived of while living in a feces laden cage with her siblings Pan and Hestia. Amazingly, none of these cats had any litter box issues. All of them were frightened of human touch when they came to the shelter, but after a few weeks of TLC in a foster home, they all purr like kittens who don't want you to stop petting them - Hera just doesn't like belly rubs. Hera was first to come around, purrs and does love rolls just by having you near, and will prove to be a treasured family member for hopefully many years to come.
