Jessica, is a gorgeous African Grey parrot searching for someone gentle enough to earn her trust. She enjoys attention but is not yet hand tame. She makes a variety of noises including grumbles, beeps, and whistles. She will say “Good girl, helloo” and “no.” When she is comfortable, she will sometimes dance and make joyful clicking sounds. Her favorite toys are composed of cardboard, paper, and wood. Because African Greys can be loud, she would not be suitable for a living situation with shared walls. If you have the patience and kindness to care for a bird like Jessica, then apply to adopt her today! Adoption fee: $700 Adoption process Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers. Shelter location The FIRST step is to fill out an adoption application on our website. We are not able to arrange a meeting without first filling out an adoption application.
