June is a very sweet and loving 3 year old Heeler that is looking for a calm home. June had the opportunity to make a home visit with a staff member to see how she did with new situations. June does very well with other dogs when it comes to play, but is not a fan of sharing things with other dogs such as beds, bowls, or toys. June did not like larger livestock such as horses and sheep as she was very afraid of them. June showed no herding instincts towards the many types of animals she met on her home visit. June would make a great dog for people that are very laid back like her. She does good in the house, kennel, and car. If you would like to meet June, please stop by the shelter. We are open daily, except Tuesday and Sunday, from 1-4 pm.If you have any questions or would like to adopt June, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
