Meet Lightning!!Lightning is about 170 pounds, and we estimate her to be between 25 and 30 years old. Looking for a good forever home. She must have a concrete pad with an enclosure shade some type of tiki style housing and a small watering hole You can see from the picture she sits in it to stay cool several times a day. She is an African spurred side (Sulcata) tortoise. They need to stay cool, and cannot tolerate direct, excessive heat. Please contact us if you are interested in this beautiful girl.Adoption processAdoption Application and Contract are required as is also at least one home visit. We also require that our adopted pets reside inside the family home. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption for any reason we feel is necessary to protect the welfare and lives of the adoptable or other animal(s) under our care and any other animals that might be affected.
