Meet the dynamic duo from the backyards of Bushwick! Little Bear and Mouse were born this August, and have been in foster since early October. They started off pretty shy and skittish, but their progress has been really impressive and they are warming up by the day, even allowing their foster to rub their bellies! Little Bear went from hissing his feelings to a full-on motor purr in a matter of a week. Poor, sweet Mouse was quite tummy-sick when we first got her, which explains why she is so much tinier than her big brother bear. She begrudgingly accepted some medicine and is feeling much better now, good enough to be gravitationally challenged by toys! See video. These two siblings are pretty cuddly and bonded, and would strongly prefer to be adopted together. They are not yet spayed and neutered, but that can be arranged before adoption or they can be adopted with a spay and neuter deposit.
