We would like to introduce you to Lokie aka formerly Porkie We don't really like that name, but she responds to it! So....we have been calling her Lokie (pronounced low key, which, she is!). She is responding to that as well. This girl is 7 years young and is a chunk, but her story explains it. This gal lived in a pet carrier for 3 years!!! Her food and water bowls were on the door, a small litter pan and her, curled in a corner. She got to step out 1 or 2 times a day for litter box cleaning. When she came to us, she had scabs and hair loss, we are guessing from rubbing on the crate. Her hair is growing back slowly. This sweet girl is declawed on her front paws, and is about 12 pounds of purr motor! When you say her name, the purr motor turns on! Porky has very weak muscles from not getting much movement for 3 years and she still stays in a corner, only turning around for love. This lady needs a loving quiet home with lots of patience. She will blossom, she already has with us. We are hoping to get her into a home soon, so she can see, life is good! Write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail if you are Interested.
