This sweet and happy pup is Luke and he is looking for a loving family to call his own. Luke is a 3-year old cattle dog mix and about 35 pounds. He loves his people! He is always up for a run around the block and equally interested in cuddling with his people. Best of both worlds! Luke sometimes gets overly excited around other dogs, but with a proper introduction he does well. Cats are a little too exciting for him too. He is very smart and treat motivated so would love for his forever family continue his training so he can be the best boy he can be.Luke is house trained and would love a yard to run around in his forever home. He gets along great with older kids (10+ years old), but he still has some herding dog behaviors so younger kids probably aren't ideal for his forever home, even though he's very sweet. Luke would love an active family/ person to take him on lots of weekend adventures and give him cuddles in the evenings. Could that be you?Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis.
