*Please read FULL description before inquiring.* These bunnies are absolute sweethearts! They are so gentle and sweet and are rock stars with using the litter box reliably. They are not destructive at all. Both have sad pasts, and together, they have a left and right eye. Luna (black) came to us the summer of 2019 from a rescue in Utah. We acquired her as a friend for our first sanctuary bunny, who sadly passed shortly after. She is approximately 7 years old. She was originally a breeder bunny and spent her time in a small wire bottomed cage outdoors. During that time, her right ear became frostbitten and part of it fell off, and she also got a serious eye infection in her right eye. Thankfully she was brought to a rescue and had the infected eye removed. She was a bit shy and skittish, but her little friendly husbun has helped her to become more trusting. Mr. Susan (white) was one of our very first residents and came to us May 2019 with a serious eye infection in his left eye, which was removed after we got him. He was quite young and initially was thought to be female, and was named Susan. He is so sweet, friendly, and outgoing. They have been in our care as sanctuary animals, but due to factors including the COVID and the RHVD2 viruses, we have made the difficult decision to allow them to be adopted. The adoption of Luna and Mr. Susan includes a $75 vet credit, which can be used within 12 months from time of adoption and at the vet of your choice. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application at www.hhsar.org/adopt. The adoption fee is $75, which does not include a habitat, cage, or any supplies. We regularly have used habitats, cages and supplies available for a donation fee. Please contact us for more information. We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a shelter location where our animals can be visited.
