Mater was brought to us from a rough situation along with a lot of other friends. After some much needed TLC, Mater is ready to find his furever home. At just over 2 years old, Mater is as playful and loving as they come. He likes to be held and loved up on, just as much as he likes giving the attention back. He enjoys being held like a baby! He also likes belly rubs for a short amount of time. With his piercing golden eyes, Mater will stare you down until he gets what he wants; someone to play with. He's extremely playful, likes to run around and pounce on toys. He will nibble and paw at anyone in a playful manner, but he doesn't realize how rough he is actually playing sometimes. He is filled with curiosity and loves to explore new places! He also doesn't seem to mind other cats. He's very curious about who is around him here at the shelter. When his kennel door is open, he instantly has to paw around in all directions to see if any of his kennel neighbors want to have a playful sparring session.
