Mimi is 6 lbs of fluff and personality. At 10 years old, she knows exactly what she wants in life:--She wants you to verbally and/or physically acknowledge her when she enters the room (a "hi pretty kitty" is always appreciated)--She wants soft surfaces to practice her biscuit making skills --She wants to cuddle with you, at the time and place of her choosing --She wants to spend a few minutes a day going crazy for her toys ....and that's about it! Mimi doesn't require much, which is why we're shocked she's been bounced around as much as she has. We'll spare you the details, but through no fault of her own Mimi has had four owners in the last year and a half (not including her time as a Brave foster). We're hesitant to trust someone to adopt Mimi because she deserves nothing more than someone who will lover her and commit to her. She's the perfect mix of independent and affectionate. She has her preferences on how she likes things (remember: we said she's a lady who knows what she wants) but she's otherwise a very low maitenence cat. Mimi has lived in all sorts of environments. She has lived in a hoarding situation, she has lived with multiple cats and dogs, and she has lived with kids. While she adjusts anywhere she goes, we've found Mimi's favorite place to live is one where she's an only pet, has quiet to average house activity, and has one to a few people to love her. Mimi has had a bit of a chaotic life and she's ready to settle down with her FOREVER person. She does great in an apartment! Mimi will make an amazing friend and companion for some lucky person. Requires another cat: NoGood with other cats: Yes, given time to adjust Would be fine with young kids (under 10): YesGood with dogs: Yes, given time to adjust Home activity level: Quiet to normal Health concerns or special needs: None. At Mimi's recent check up the vet said her eyes and teeth look great, and she requires no special diet. She prefers a medium-large shallow litter box. Mimi's vet believes she was born sometime around 2013. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $125 which covers age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.
