Pancho is sweet older gentleman who really only needs a comfy spot to sleep in, food to eat, and a hand to get pets from. He came to us after his owner could no longer care for him, and he has adjusted really quickly to his changing situations. He loves being pet, and is never hissy or swatty. He leans into all pets with gusto, and clearly just wants to be loved. Pancho was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. In lieu of an adoption fee, we would be thrilled for a potential adopter to for a larger adoption donation and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible. Pancho has a condition called hyperthyroidism which means his thyroid is overacting. Long term hyperthyroid cats are great companions and don’t require extensive or expensive care. Medication is about 11 cents a day and yearly blood tests make sure that they are still on the correct dose.
