Hello everyone! My name is Rip, I’m 8 months old, and I recently came to Wisconsin all the way from Alabama. I wasn’t sure about this cold white stuff called ‘snow’ the first time I walked on it but I think I like it now! I’m loving life at my foster family’s house, especially their dog who is showing me the ropes on how to be the best friend to my humans. They also said I’m doing great with their kids who are 7 and 10. I haven’t lived with cats so I’m not sure how that would go. My foster mom says I’m very smart and a quick learner so the sky’s the limit on what I can all learn! I haven’t had any problems with accidents - I have a 100% track record with going potty outside since I moved in here. They’re very proud of me for that! I’m definitely a puppy and want to play. I have a lot of energy but I listen well and love getting pets and cuddles too. I currently weigh 30 lbs and look like I’ll get to be a decent sized boy once I’m full grown. It’s hard to say for sure since I’m what they call an “Alabama Special’. This just means I’m one of a kind, if my big ears that stand straight up and my black coat with brown underneath it didn’t already tell you that. I love getting into my big dog brother’s toy bin and seeing what treasures I can find - I can’t believe all the fun stuff he has! I think I like them more than he does! He’s so lucky, he came here from Alabama too, and his family says adopting him from Sandi Paws was the best decision they ever made. I’d love to find my forever family so I can get all the way settled in for a happy life up north.
