Hello! My name is Rose. I am a shy gal who came to the shelter for being a bit too nippy so the landlord said I could no longer stay there. I can be a bit protective of my people, so I am looking for someone who can give me the assurance that people are not a threat, but instead can be my friends! The shelter is working with me on trusting people again. I know sit and lay down. I even stay for short periods of time. I look so cute when I sit or stand on my back legs! Once I get to know you, I become an amazing cuddle dog who will nuzzle into your chest for affection. Because of my history of being overprotective and nippy around kids, a home with older kids would be best for me. I also have lived with dogs in the past, but didn't get along with them or other dogs outside the home. A dog free home would be best. There is a sweet and loving side to me - it just may take some patience from my new family to get it out of me! A quiet home that doesn't have frequent visitors would be ideal!
