All hail the king of the pride lands, Simba has arrived! Simba is a handsome adult cat looking for his new perfect family. In his previous home, he was having a very difficult time living with younger children, and was unable to coexist with the grandchildren that would come to visit. Simba is front paw declawed, and because of this he has much fewer options than other cats when it comes to expressing his discomfort or relieving stress. Without his front claws, the only tools he has to communicate are his voice and his teeth, and Simba will always let you know if you have crossed his boundaries with a very polite hiss. Despite all his struggles, Simba is a very loving and quirky cat with a big personality. He adores getting attention from people, especially if they have a tasty treat or two! His favorite thing in the world is wet food, and it's rare to see him eating anything else. All of us at MACS have fallen in love with this one of a kind cat, and we know you will too! Simba's ideal home will have no young children, either as visitors or permanent residents. He does best in the company of adults, but will tolerate teenagers if they are confident and familiar with cats. Individuals interested in Simba should familiarize themselves with the struggles of declawed cat behavior, and be willing to accommodate this handicap.
