Stubs_A199426Stubs is an approximate 5-year-old, intact male, tricolor Heeler that weighs 55 pounds. He arrived at the shelter as a stray on 10/11/19.Stubs is a very sweet, happy-to-lucky boy that enjoys playing fetch. He appears to be house trained, knows the sit command and walks well on the leash. We highly recommend older, dog-savvy children because he can be snappy when taking food from the hand. Stubs is friendly toward the dogs here at the shelter and neutral toward the cats. If you have another dog and are interested in adopting Stubs, bring them to the shelter with you and our staff will help you with a meet and greet. Stubs is in need of a dental; his teeth have quite a bit of plaque on them that needs to be removed. This usually can be done during neuter surgery.
