How this pet arrived:Tea was brought in by her previous owner on February 3, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Tea is a hamster who is looking for a home to call her own. This resilient hamster has endured several challenges, including the removal of a mass from her right inguinal area, which is currently healing satisfactorily. Additionally, she experienced an impaction in her left cheek pouch, which has been successfully resolved but remains a potential concern for recurrence in the future. Tea is a busy little hammy who dreams of having her own place where she can have plenty of space to burrow, forage, and chew! Look up a "DIY hamster bin cage" for a roomy and inexpensive hamster home! Hamsters need a LOT of daily enrichment to keep themselves from becoming bored. Tea needs a large amount of room (450 square inches for dwarfs / 650 square inches Syrians) with plenty of bedding (6 inches) to dig intricate tunnels where they can do secret hamster things away from prying eyes. Tea would love to find a human who will spend time slowly building a bond of trust and love with them! We recommend doing plenty of research before bringing this cute hammy home.
