Meet TillyTilly is the sweetest dog youll ever meet! She is an older gal, at 8 years old and 57 pounds, who found herself saved just in time from the list at a Houston shelter. Tilly is nothing but grateful for her life being spared and she shows it in many ways. She loves to be close by at all times, lets no morsel of food go to waste, and expresses love through giving kisses when she gets belly rubs or pawing your leg to let you know shes always there. Tilly is great with dogs of all sizes. She would also be perfectly happy as the only pet in a home. Shes had limited opportunities to be around young kids but they seemed to make her a little nervous, so a home with older kiddos would be best. Tilly is highly food motivated and does best eating supper in her own area to ensure everybody eats their own share. Tillys coat is thick and will require regular brushing to maintain and reduce shedding. Tilly also does not require being kenneled and would do very well in a home where she has free-reign to come and go through a doggy door as she occasionally has accidents if having to hold it for over 6 hours in a confined space.
